Unlike semiconductor UV release tape, non-UV tape does not require exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light for bonding or release. Instead, it relies on other mechanisms such as pressure-sensitive adhesives or thermal bonding for temporary wafer bonding and subsequent debonding.
