Avalanche Barrier: The main part of the avalanche barrier is based on high-strength steel mesh that extends across the slope to the snow surface. Thus, the occurrence of avalanches is prevented in the triggering zone and the resulting snow movement is limited to harmless areas. The force generated by the snow pressure is absorbed by the snow net and transferred to the anchor point through the swivel post and anchor rope.
